ATLog Project Ethical Framework
Key ethical principles for the use of Socially Assistive Robots, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Conversational AI, and phonetic-linguistic analysis in speech and language therapy for children and adolescents with communication disorders.
The Ethical Framework was developed to support the use of these technologies in a manner consistent with the ethical and legal standards of the European Commission, while protecting users’ well-being, privacy, dignity and rights. The framework covers four main technological areas and includes an ethical procedure, informed consent requirements and data protection rules.
